Barbara's Obituary
St. Joseph, MI. – Barbara Jean Dannhardt, 72, of St. Joseph, MI., died peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Caretel Inn in St. Joseph. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home.
Barbara was born on August 20, 1937 in Benton Harbor, MI to Forrest and Wilma (Schultz) Barker. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold Schuld and second husband,Werner Dannhardt. Barbara enjoyed gardening. Also, she enjoyed decorating and remodeling her home, as she took great pride in how her home looked.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Brenda Scruggs, three grandchildren, James Schuld, Jesse Scruggs and Jeffrey Scruggs, her sisters, Joyce Deloach and Jeanne Little, her niece and primary caregiver, Theresa Doak along with many other nieces and nephews and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands and sister, Linda Metty.
