Keith Lloyd Griffin

Keith Lloyd Griffin, 58, of Sodus, MI, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph following a brief illness. A visitation celebrating his life and a time of sharing will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 6th at 2:00 p.m. at 4470 Hicks Dr., Benton Harbor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Keith Griffin Memorial Fund through United Federal Credit Union or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the memory book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Keith was born on April 20, 1951, in Benton Harbor, MI to Lloyd W. and Lucille (Greer) Griffin. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1970. Keith was a self-employed mechanic for over twenty years. He enjoyed outdoor life; Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, Snowmobiling, Harley riding for pleasure as well as runs for Charity events such as Race for the Cure and Muscular Dystrophy. Keith was a loving son, proud father, adoring grandfather and a loyal friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all who love him. He is survived by his two daughters, Kara (Andrew) Youngblood of Sodus, daughter of marriage to Ronda Beilman and Karissa (Paul) Griffin-Shannon of Sodus, daughter of marriage to Vivian Kroontje. Keith is also survived by three grandsons, Aaron, Jason and Kaleb Youngblood, his mother Lucille Griffin of Benton Harbor, a sister, Yvonne Griffin of Benton Harbor, and three nephews.
