Ruth's Obituary
St. Joseph, MI. – Ruth Marie Binger, 89, of St. Joseph, MI., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 9, 2010. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. The visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11th. The internment will be at Riverview Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to Berrien County Cancer Service.
Ruth was born on February 17, 1921 in St. Joseph, MI to Albert and Edna (Thornton) Myers. She married Earl Harold Binger on April 26, 1942 in St. Joseph, MI. She worked for over 25 years for Michigan Bell Telephone. Ruth was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Ruth is survived by her three sons, Gary (Wendy) Binger of Chandler, AZ; Bruce (Nina) Binger of Benton Harbor, MI and Donald (Lolita) Binger of St. Joseph, MI; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Edna, her husband, Earl and her daughter, Barbara.
