Frances Marie Peppel

St. Joseph, MI. – Frances Marie Peppel, 86, of St. Joseph, MI., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Caretel Inns of Royalton in St. Joseph. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church located at the corner of Colfax and Kline in Benton Harbor. The visitation will be held Thursday, April 22nd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. The internment will be at Riverview Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Berrien County Cancer Service or Hospice at Home. Frances was born on May 7, 1923 in Kalamazoo, MI to Claud and Irene (Vierk) Hinkley. She married Gerhart Peppel on August 10, 1947 in Kalamazoo, MI. Frances is survived by her children, Mary (Ed) Mohr of St. Joseph, MI, Dean (Becki) Peppel of Stevensville, MI, Tom (Carol) Peppel of Cedarburg, WI and Roger Peppel of Waverly, IA. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Thomas W. Peppel, Molly Peppel, Adam Peppel, Mitchell Mohr, Aaron Peppel and Aiden Peppel.
