Delores Ann Bonds

Delores Ann Bonds, 74 of Los Angeles, California passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015, at the Southern California Hospital in Culver City. Her Home-Going service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at Clark Chapel, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac, Michigan.  The family will visit with friends, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., 1 hour prior to the service.  She will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac, MI. Delores was born February 10, 1941, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Lyle Nichols, Sr. and Annie (Grady) Nichols.  She attended school in Dowagiac and graduated from Dowagiac Central High School. She was a homemaker and also worked many years for the Eaton Corporation in Kalamazoo and retired from there. Delores is survived by her four children; Patricia McMillon of Los Angeles, CA, Christina Nichols of Boca Raton, FL, Michael Bonds of South Bend, IN and Angela Bonds of Los Angeles, CA. She also leaves behind three siblings; Lyle Nichols, II of Dowagiac, Irene Nichols of Atlanta, GA. and Leon Kennedy of South Bend, IN. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Antonio McMillon and Isaiah Bonds. She was preceded in death by her parents Lyle Nichols, Sr. and Annie Nichols; sister, Barbara Johnson.
