Billie's Obituary
Billie Cohen Fulkerson, 77, of Benton Harbor, passed away, Monday, December 28, 2009 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30 A.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rabbi David Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at B'nai Sholom Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to Temple B'nai Shalom. Billie was born June 3, 1932 in Searcy, Arkansas to Clyde & Ruth (Cranford) Healy. She was a member of Temple B'nai Shalom. Billie enjoyed golfing, tending to her flower gardens, and rooting for the Chicago Cubs. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Billie is survived by her four daughters-Rose (Michael) Undem of Fillmore, CA, Marla (Richard) Mashak of Grand Rapids, Reva (John) Wygant of St. Joseph, Ilene Dawson of Oakland, CA; eight grandchildren-Rachel & Amy Wygant, Julia & Amanda Mashak, Louie, Eric & Sean Bright, Nick Dawson; her sister Betty Madia of Evergreen Park, IL; her brother Herman (Pam) Healy of Lakeland, FL; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Jack Cohen, her second husband Robert Fulkerson, and her grand daughter Jaclyn Mashak.
