Kevin Jayme Yore Stevensville, MI – Kevin J. Yore, 52, of Stevensville, MI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph, MI. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville, MI. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Kevin was born on September 28, 1957 to William and Wyn (Miller) Yore in St. Joseph, MI. Kevin is survived by his parents, Wyn Yore and Bill & Jan Yore, along with his siblings: Deb (Christopher) Williamsen, Bill Yore, Jr., Mike Yore, Cathy (Steve) Woodrick, Peg (Ron) Farac, Chris (Mike) Screes, Julie (Scott) McWilliams, Theresa Yore, Sarah (Aaron) VanOosterhout, Becky Yore, Marie (Brian) Juengling, and Rob (Lori) Palmer. Kevin is also survived by his grandmother, Dorothy Yore, and 21 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his niece, Heather Williamsen. Kevin was a proud graduate of Blossomland School in Berrien Springs. He loved to swim and represented the State of Michigan in the Special Olympics where he won 5 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. Kevin also enjoyed bowling with his friends from the Upton Center. He loved his dogs and was proud to watch them compete in dog shows. Kevin's undying love for God & Jesus spilled into the lives of everyone he met. He was and still remains a never ending inspiration to his family and friends. Because of Kevin, a special gift from Heaven, all of his family has grown richer in faith and are eternally grateful to God for the miracle called Kevin Yore.
