Velma's Obituary
Velma Meredith Dioguard, born January 5, 1914 in St. Joseph, Michigan, passed away at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.
Cremation has taken place as Velma requested. Velma worked for the Auto Specialty Company for 24 years and was an active volunteer at the Rose Center, the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Center and Birthright.
Velma was preceded in death by her beloved husband George and son Vernon and is survived by her daughter-in-law Helen Peters-Totzke; grandchildren, Dr. Stephen Peters of Connecticut, Mark Peters of Kentucky, and Heather Miethe of Alaska; and grandchildren, Samantha and Logan Peters, Breana, Hannah, and Julia Miethe.
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetrey.
