James Edward Robinson

James E. Robinson, 69 of Benton Harbor died at his home on Saturday, February 23, 2008. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30P.M., Wednesday, February 27, 208 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Kenneth Babcock officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Sodus. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial can be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan or Berrien County Cancer Service. He married the love of his life, Darlene Smallidge at there home on June 27, 1987. He retired from Bosch on April 30, 1999. His favorite pass time was spending time with his family, riding his lawn mower and sitting in his pole born with his dogs. He is survived by his wife Darlene; four sons Jimmy (Lisa) Robinson of Florida, Rick Robinson of Las Vegas NV, James (Amy) Robinson, Jr., of St. Joseph, Todd (Rhonda) Sweet of Baroda; daughter Kim (Jay) Wehrly of Stevensville; thirteen grandchildren; two bothers Lilburn Robinson of Coloma, Dell Robinson of Benton Harbor. He was preceded in death by a special niece Chris Marie Robinson; three brothers, Edgar, Lendell and LaVon Robinson.
