Harry William Billion

ST. JOSEPH – Harry William Billion, 93, of Kalamazoo, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Director’s Hall, Heritage Community, Kalamazoo. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to Heritage Community in Kalamazoo. Harry was born on July 6, 1913, in St. Joseph, to William H. and Lelah (Davis) Billion. He worked simultaneously for The Whitcomb and the former Inter City Bank for over 40 years before retiring in 1982. He was a volunteer at the St. Joseph Senior Center and was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Benton Harbor Lodge #298. He is survived by his brother in-law, Russell Rowland of Kalamazoo; three nephews, Mark Rowland, Brian Rowland, and David (Susan) Rowland, all of Kalamazoo; and three great-nieces, Jessica, Amy, and Danielle Rowland. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas Billion; and a sister, LaVone Rowland.
