Kent's Obituary
Kent Drake, 57, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, in Huntington County, IN.
A Celebration of Life will be 7 P.M., Wednesday December 4, 2013, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac. Friends may visit from 5 to 7 P.M on Wednesday prior to the service. Those wishing to leave a condolence online for Kent may do so at www.clarkch.com.
Kent was born in Bangor, MI on September 11, 1956, to Charles & Hilda Frances (Knolle) Drake. On October 31, 2003, he married Laura (Juroff) Drake in Eau Claire, MI. Kent was a member of the Moose lodge, and he enjoyed being outside, cutting firewood, going to the flea markets, collecting baseball cards, and his rabbits. He will be remembered as a hard worker.
Kent is survived by his wife, Laura Drake, his father Charles, his six children, Jason Drake, Amanda VanHorn, Erin VanHorn, Miranda “Slimer” Drake, Charles “Chad” Drake, Andrew Drake, three grandchildren, Maggi, Havyn, and Aubrey, and his sister Charlotte Nesbit.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and his daughter Melanie Drake.
