Rebecca Lynn Walker

Rebecca’s life began on March 9, 1998 in Berrien Center, MI, the daughter of Tommy and Angela (Canniff) Walker. She was a high school sophomore. She was in the Rotary Interact Club, in the high school choir, on the Apostolic Lighthouse Church Praise Team, Church Drama Team and the Church Music Team. She loved to play the piano and sing often practicing for hours a day. She also loved to listen to all styles of Christian music, and was very active in the church youth group. Rebecca’s loving family includes her mother and father, a brother Nathaniel, grandparents Janie Reed, Larry Starrett and Brenda Henslee-Starrett, Linda Walker, a great grandmother Bertha Sparkman, Aunts Veronica (Shon) Stewart, Amanda (Thomas) Ottinger, Michelle Henslee, Tammie Pruett, Judy (Shawn) Scott, Betsy Smith, Uncles Scott (Dawn) Smith and Mike Canniff, numerous cousins, church family and many many friends. She passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Rebecca is preceded in death by grandfathers Doyle Canniff, Sonny Henslee and Tommy Walker, and one uncle Kenny Smith. Her family will gather with friends on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 30402 M 62, Dowagiac, MI. where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles, MI. Memorials in her name may be made to the Walker family.
