Gerald's Obituary
Gerald’s life began on September 5, 1934 in Berrien Center, MI, the son of Clyde and Mabel (Biebly) Benson. He was united in marriage to Ruth Louise Squier on March 28, 1953 in Dowagiac, MI,. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, the outdoors and watch rodeos.
His loving family includes his children, Cyndi, Gerald Jr, Roy, Eddie, James, Lester, Judy and Valerie, 27 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Dory Holmes and Velma Morgan, 1 brother Larry Benson, 1 daughter-in-law Charlotte Benson
Gerald passed away at home on October 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 children Dennis and Rebecca Benson, 5 sisters Rene, Effie, Cliff, Reva and Linda, a daughter-in-law Barbara Benson.
The family will gather with friends on Friday October 11, 2013 at 11:30am at the Mission Hill Cemetery Chapel where a Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30pm.
