Minnie's Obituary
Minnie Lou Pooch, 78, of Stevensville, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Center or the American Lung Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, St. Joseph.
Miss Pooch, known as “Aunt Lou” to many family & friends, was born July 14, 1928 in St. Joseph to Frank & Edith (Hasse) Pooch, Sr. She retired from Pemco Die Cast in Bridgman after many years of employment. In her spare time, Lou enjoyed bowling & golfing.
Lou is survived by two sisters-Edith Hill of Stevensville, Dorothy Hora of St. Joseph; her brother Frank Pooch, Jr. of Benton Harbor; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Mary Jane Starner.
