Roger Lynn Chaline

Roger Lynn Chaline, age 52, of Dowagiac, MI and formerly of Houston, Texas passed away on October 5, 2013 at his residence in Dowagiac, MI. Roger’s life began on January 20, 1961 in Houston, Texas. He was the son of Robert and Billie (McAlpine) Chaline. He married Carolyn Hammond. He worked for Neal Moving Company. Roger loved fishing and football, especially the Houston Texans. His loving family includes his mother Billie Chaline, his wife Carolyn; his children Rachel Hammond of AZ, Roger Chaline Jr. of TX, Chris Chaline of TX, Robert Smith of MI, Michael Smith of MI, Carolyn (Scott Rickard) Chaline of MI, Sherry (Brandon) Ottinger of MI, Shawn Smith of KS, Mitzi Recalde of KS, and Abby Recalde of KS; 11 grandchildren; four brothers Randy, Jerry, Brian, and Ricky Chaline all of TX and one sister Lisa Daly of MN. He was preceded in death by his father Robert, a brother Danny and a sister Patricia Chaline. Roger was entrusted to Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI where all services will be private.
