Darrell's Obituary
Darrell W. Emlong, 85, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Joseph. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 7:00, Friday, September 1, at the funeral home. Darrell was born on February 7, 1921. He married Audrey Burch on May 29, 1976. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time together. In years past, he had been a member of both the Knights of Columbus and the Elks.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Audrey; and by his step-children, Vicki (Fred) Trace of Triangle, Virginia and William (Marie Christine) Risto of St. Joseph; Cliff (Pegge) Emlong of St. Joseph and his sister, Bernice Wolfe of Muncie, IN.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Rita; and by his step-son Robert Risto.
