Lori L. Shoemaker

Lori Lisa Shoemaker, 44, of Stevensville, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2006, at her home. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 15, 2006, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School. Lori worked in private duty nursing care for 20 years. Lori married Steve Shoemaker on November 13, 2001, in St. Joseph. Lori is survived by her husband, Steve; parents, Nancy (Frank) Gomez of Benton Harbor, MI and Jerry (Sandy) Vaughn of MS; sisters, Kamie Elliott of Watervliet, MI and Cheryl Russell of Stevensville, MI; brothers, Ronald (Laura) French of Middleburg, FL, Thomas Dickey of Eau Claire, MI, Jerry (Melissa) Vaughn, Jr. of FL, and Austin (Karen) McCarver of Sodus, MI.
