Mary Ann Roeder

Mary Ann Roeder, 87, of St. Joseph and formerly of Stevensville, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Lakeland Continuing Care in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Dr. Randy Doyle officiating. Burial will be held at later date in Evansville, IN. Friends may call upon the family from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Mary Ann was born on August 18, 1918, in Evansville, IN. She was the older of two daughters born to Frank & Anna Traylor. On June 28, 1941 she married John Roeder. John & Mary Ann moved to the twin-cities area in 1958. They were longtime members of St. Peter’s Church. Mary Ann was a longtime active member of St. Peter’s Woman’s Fellowship Organization. She loved all animals especially kitty cats. Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Vonda (Paul) Johnson of DeLand, FL; her nephew & God-son, Randy Erhard; Grand-niece & God-daughter, JoAnne Erhard; grand-nephew, Bryan Erhard; grand-niece, Heather Erhard; and her great-grand niece, Carolena Morales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Roeder; and her niece & God-daughter, Suzan Erhard.
