Inamay's Obituary
Inamay Clark, 87, long-time resident of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Golden Place in St. Joseph. A graveside committal service will be held at 2: 00 P.M., Friday, April 28, 2006, at North Shore Memorial Garden in Coloma with Pastor Melanie Lawrence officiating. Memorials can be made in her memory to Gateway North. The Kerley- Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road has been entrusted with the arrangements. Those wishing to share a message of condolence may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com. Inamay was born June 10, 1918, in Dowagiac. She was one of 12 children born to John & Mabel Clark and is the last surviving sibling. On January 1, 1943 she married Clarence A. Clark in Chicago. Together they had 3 children, Johnny, Gary Michael, and Jeanne. She worked for 41 years and retired in 1981 from V-M Corp. as a Quality Control Inspector. She loved gardening, knitting, and was a avid reader. Inamay was a “Die-Hard Cubs Fan.” She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was affectionately known as “Nanny” to them. Inamay is survived by her children, Gary Michael Clark and Jeanne (Gary) Hardt, both of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Lisa (Dan) Seitz of Buffalo, NY and Justin Hardt of St. Joseph; and three great-grandchildren, Adara, Johnathon, and Madison Seitz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Johnny, and husband Clarence in 1972, and by her 11 bothers and sisters.
