Gladys's Obituary
Gladys A. Wales, 87, of Stevensville, died at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph on Monday, May 29, 2006, surrounded by her family.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Burial will be in Bates Cemetery in Iron River, Michigan. Gladys was born January 18, 1919, in Iron River, Michigan to Fred and Tillie (Larson) Shoquist.
She married Ernest Wales in Iron Mountain, Michigan on June 9, 1940. They moved to this area in 1978.
Gladys is survived by her sons Dennis (Janet) Wales of Berrien Springs, Michigan, Robert (Janine) Wales of Houghton, Michigan, and Richard (Sherry) Wales, of St. Joseph; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
