Lillie M. Fannin, 82, formerly of Benton Harbor passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation, South Haven. A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Lillie Mae Wells on May 1, 1923 in Leoma, Tennessee. On December 23, 1941 she married Jesse C. Fannin. He preceded her in death in 1994. In addition she was preceded by her son Jerry Wayne Fannin in 1985, and by seven brothers and five sisters. Lillie loved bowling and her bowling buddies. She loved her family and grandchildren. She had been employed at Auto Specialties and Voice of Music Corporation.Survivors include two sons, Gary Fannin of Mentor, Ohio, Steve (Carolyn) Fannin of Benton Harbor; seven grandchildren-Doug (Cindy) Fannin, Darrin (Jenny) Fannin, Amanda, Sarah, and Joey Fannin, all from Michigan, Marc Fannin and Jeff Fannin from Ohio
