Molly Kirchgessner Schuler

Molly Kirchgessner Schuler, 45, wife of Larry, mother of Jenna, Kaitlin, and Robby, who provided unending inspiration to all those who have had the privilege of knowing her, began her new life in heaven on February 16, 2006. Molly’s incredible strength of will allowed her to triumph over her cancer to always be there for her family and friends. Molly earned a Masters Degree in Education from Michigan State University after graduating from East Grand Rapids High School. A “favorite” teacher for over 20 years and an active member of the community, Molly has taught all of us about the importance of a positive attitude. In addition to her husband and children, Molly is survived by her parents, Bob and Jan Kirchgessner, brother Bob (Sue) Kirchgessner, and sisters Peggy (Dean) Koenigs, Carrie (Jim) Donaldson, Ellen (Jay) Rendos, Jane and the late Mike Zawacki, Katie (Rob) Meilinger; her in-laws, Nancy and Bruce Barnhart, Hans and Nancy Schuler, Suzanne and Tad Wilcox, Elizabeth Schuler, and Jon Schuler. Molly’s sunny personality has inspired her wonderful group of nieces and nephews, and many close friends and colleagues. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19, 2006 from 5:00P.M.-8:00P.M, with Liturgical Prayers recited at 8:00P.M., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00A.M., Monday, with Rev. Robert Moss officiating, at First Church of God, 2627 Niles Ave., St. Joseph. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Memorial donations may be made in Molly’s name to Berrien Community Foundation, 2900 S. State, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
