Diane loved her life! Most of all she cherished time shared with her family and friends. She spent 25 years at J.C. Penney’s Styling Salon taking care of her “Ladies”. When Diane laughed, you could not help but laugh with her. “Aunt” Diane was always ready to have fun! Diane loved to shop for bargains, watch “her” shows, and sew. The special quilts she made will be cherished. Diane was a proud member of the Auto Clinic Racing Gang at Kalamazoo Speedway. Diane was born October 29, 1954 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was a 1973 graduate of Three Rivers High School and later, Twin Cities Beauty College. She was also a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville.
Diane is survived by her parents Rinnert “Buster” and Dana (Gowen) Albright of Constantine; Seven sisters-Carol Norton of Swanton, OH, Shelly (Ron) Melvin of Three Rivers, Joyce (Tom) Hogoboom of Three Rivers, Lawanda (Rick) Mast of Marcellus, Karen (Terry) Elmore of Constantine, Janie Albright of Kalamazoo, Lorri (John) Weaver of Kalamazoo; one brother John Albright; three nieces-Melissa, Jaime, and Rachel; five nephews-Matthew, Johnathan, Chauncey, Jason, and Michael; four great nieces-Kyra, Layne, Mackenzie, and Evelyn; three great nephews-Jacob, Tim, and Tyler. Diane is also survived by the family she made her home with for the past 33 years-Oscar & Pat (Burns) Heritz, Alan & Kathy (Zavoral) Heritz, and Tod & Gidget (Heritz) Kretchman. The relationship Diane shared with Jenny, Stephie, Ali, Zak, and Kali, could not be mistaken for anything but the true love of an aunt.
Diane was a true giver of gifts, and now she sits in heaven with a smile on her face. She gave the “gift of life” for the Lord to put in place. Our lives were truly blessed by Diane’s happy go lucky spirit and unconditional love. She will be missed.
