Elsie's Obituary
Elsie M. Williams, 92, formerly of Riverside, passed away Saturday, October 08, 2005 at Golden Place II in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Sing officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may call beginning at 6:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Mrs. Williams was born April 15, 1913 in Arkansas to George A. & Mollie (Weaver) Brooks. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Carl Williams in Arkansas. Elsie enjoyed crocheting, quilting, writing poetry and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Williams is survived by her two sons-Robert (Danni) Williams of Benton Harbor, Bill Williams of Stevensville; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister Faye in Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl on February 23, 1991, her daughter-in-law Rita Williams on November 11, 2003, and by seven sisters & a brother.
