Jo Ann Ross

Jo Ann’s life began on December 3, 1942 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of William B. and Dora May (Tiffany) Ronda. She was united in marriage to William Ross in October of 1997, after meeting many years earlier in 1973. Jo Ann and Bill owned and operated Bill Ross Trucking Co. She was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Dowagiac and loved to travel. Joann loved her many dogs, and was an avid customer of QVC. Her loving family includes her husband Bill of Sister Lakes, children Timothy (Billie) Brooks of Paw Paw, Jimmie Brooks of Decatur, AL, Michael ( Tracie) Brooks of Paw Paw and Lisa Marie Brooks-Knight of Tennessee, grandchildren Kasey, Timmie, Beau, Candice, Lexi, Katherine, Steven, Rebecca, Terri, April, and Scottie, three great grandchildren, step-childen Joseph, Debbie and Linda Ross, siblings Jacque Ronda of Mattawan, Shirley (Roberto) Holguin of Kalamazoo, William (Linda) Ronda of Paw Paw and Kenny Kirby of Michigan. Jo Ann passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital. Her family will gather with friends on Friday May 24th from 2-4 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church where Pastor Casey Helmuth will lead her funeral service at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Apostolic Lighthouse Church.
