Angelina M. Flynn

Angelina “Lea” Flynn, 82, of Coloma, passed away, Thursday, October 27, 2005 at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph with Fr. Christian Johnston officiating. Entombment will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may call from 3-7 P.M. Sunday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Liturgical Prayers recited at 6:30 P.M. Mrs. Flynn was born June 26, 1923 in Chicago. She spent many weekends in the Lake Michigan Beach area at the family’s summer home. In August of 1941, she married Jeremiah P. Flynn in Benton Harbor. Following his retirement, they moved permanently to the Lake Michigan Beach area in 1973. Lea was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and enjoyed flower gardening and traveling. Mrs. Flynn is survived by her son Jeremiah J. Flynn of Coloma; her daughter Karen (Ron) Lindstrom of Chicago; two grandsons-Brian & Jeffrey Lindstrom; a sister Norine Iarussi of Bass Lake, IN; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jeremiah on March 20, 1997, a sister Margaret Zablotny, and a brother James Rocco.
