Ruby P. Schulz

Ruby ‘Pat’ Schulz, 83, of Niles, MI, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005. There will be a visitation on Monday, Oct. 24, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MI. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m., at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, MI. Pat was born on May 22, 1922, in Elpaso, Arkansas, to Joseph and Marie (Paul) Parks. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Pat loved animals, especially her many pets. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, reading, dancing, playing cards and golfing. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph. She is survived by her children, Mary (David) Bartloff of Stevensville, Linda (John) Quinn of Sea Girt, New Jersey, and Joseph (Louise) Schulz of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, Jeff (Ruth) Mashak, Scott Mashak, Elizabeth Schulz and Jenny Bartloff; great grandchildren, Tiffany, Randy, and Andre Mashak; several nephews and a niece; and long time friends, Pete Potokar of Niles, Norma Schulz of Baroda, and Mary Storey of Niles. Preceding her in death are her parents-Joseph and Marie; her husband-Joe; a sister-Armina Evatt, and a nephew-Jim Evatt.
