BRIDGMAN ? Justin Edward Heyn, 36, of Bridgman was called home to heaven, suddenly and unexpectedly, early Friday morning, Oct. 14, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. A funeral service celebrating life eternal in Christ will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, downtown Stevensville, of which he was a member. Pastor Gerald Schroer and Pastor Jonathan Kruschel will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005 at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Justin was born May 12, 1969, in St. Joseph to Richard and Debi (Overmyer) Heyn. He graduated from Bridgman High School and attended Western Michigan University. On January 14, 1995 he and Marie (nee? Larson) Johnson were united in marriage. God blessed their marriage with a daughter, Korin. Justin was a private contractor before suffering a disabling injury to his back. He had been an avid fisherman and was gifted with genuine culinary skills.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Heyn, of Bridgman, his daughter, Korin, age 8, and his stepson, Kyle
Johnson, age 19, both living at home; his parents, Richard and Debi (Overmyer) Heyn, and his maternal
grandmother, Bonnie Overmyer, all of Baroda; his sister, Robin Heyn of New Buffalo; his paternal aunt,
Carol Smith of Frankfort, Ky., and his maternal uncle, Marc Overmyer of Baroda. He was preceded in
death by his paternal grandparents, William and Mildred Heyn, by his maternal grandfather, Edward
Overmyer, and by his paternal uncle, William Heyn Jr.
