Margaret Ann Rohn, 76, of St. Joseph, passed away September 6, 2005 at Caretel Inns, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Friday, September 9, 2005 at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Avenue, Stevensville, MI with Rev. William Brege of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ossian, Indiana and Rev. Philip Quardokus officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, September 8, from 6-8 P.M at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, Mich. Memorials in Margaret?s name may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service or the Lutheran Hour Ministries. Those wishing to share a condolence message online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Margaret was born October 19, 1928, in St. Joseph, Michigan to Albert & Margaret (Krueger) Roeske. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School?s class of 1946. On April 3, 1954 she married William C. Rohn in St. Joseph who survives. She was a loving, giving woman who sang in her church choir, volunteered at the hospital as well as at Birth Right, Krasl Art Center, and St. Joseph River Yacht Club. Margaret also gave of her time and talents as past president of St. Joseph Lianas and the Valpo Guild. She was a founding member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church and worked tirelessly as the church?s secretary. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Naomi Hettig of St. Joseph?her granddaughter (and fianc?e) Heather Hettig & Adam Bhatti, of St. Joseph who will be married next month, and her only sister Helen Lambrecht of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by nineteen step-brothers and step-sisters.
