Ruth's Obituary
Ruth Rizzo, daughter of Rose and George Fish, died August 11, 2005. She was born February 14, 1918 in Stevensville, Michigan. She graduated in 1937 from Benton Harbor High School. She married Joseph Rizzo in 1937.
She is survived by her children, Bernard Rizzo of Coloma, MI, Marilyn (Jerry) Anderson of Chico, CA, Dennis (Linda) Rizzo of Coloma, MI, Sharon (Alvie) Heine of Snohomish, WA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Naomi Hall of Stevensville, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rizzo; and daughter-in-law Betty Rizzo.
Ruth and Joe founded the Harbor Wholesale Grocery business.
A private graveside service is planned with Fr. Bill Jacobs, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Berrien Senior Center, In memory of Ruth Rizzo, P.O.
