E. Lowell Reisig, 78, of Royalton Township, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2005 at Home in Bridgman. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 19 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kerey-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may call on Monday between 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Area Agency for the Aging. Those who wish are invited to send the family a condolence message or sign the guestbook on line at starks-menchnger.com.Lowell was born to Ferdinand & Mary (Heimbuch) Reisig on June 7, 1921 in Royalton Township. He was one of four surviving brothers who spent his entire life in Southwestern Michigan. Lowell worked for many years as a tool and die maker for the Weil McLain Co. before his retirement. He could ?do anything? and had many hobbies particularly in relation with aviation and travel. As a licensed pilot, Lowell was in the process of building his own airplane and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was a ?giving person who would do anything for anybody.? Lowell is survived by his brothers, Norman (Barb) of Baroda, Milton (Donata) of Scottdale, and Ronald (Jackie) of Stevensville; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brothers.
