Daniel J. Dahms

Daniel J. ?Danny? Dahms, 37, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Sunday morning, July 10, 2005 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be private. Friends may call on the family Tuesday between 5-8 P.M. and from 11:30 to 1:00 Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. He was the beloved son of Wallace (Ken) & Mary M. (Farmer) Dahms. Danny graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1986. He worked for several years as an income tax accountant in the area. He enjoyed many hobbies including woodworking, fishing, and was an avid NASCAR enthusiast. Danny also enjoyed collecting Budweiser steins and stamps. He particularly enjoyed being around kids. In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by his sister, Deb Dahms of Sodus; his special niece, Alexia Evans of Benton Harbor; special aunt and uncle, Roy and Shirley Farmer of Sodus, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grand-parents, John & Kathryn Dahms and Frank & Eleanore Farmer.
