Lisanne McPherson, 49, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Lisa was born September 6, 1956 in Summit, New Jersey to Robert & Penny (Mann) Bailey. Her family moved to North Muskegon, Michigan and she graduated from North Muskegon High School in 1974. Lisa attended Ferris State University for two years. On December 12, 1980, she married Edward McPherson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lisa owned & operated All About Nails in downtown St. Joseph for many years. She enjoyed walking & collecting beach glass on the local shores of Lake Michigan, photography of birds & other wildlife, spending time with the ladies of the slumber group, and telling and hearing a good joke. Lisa?s favorite holiday was Halloween. She was very creative at carving pumpkins and had many friends asking if she could carve one for them. Lisa managed the concession stand for seven year at Eaton Park while her children participated in sports. She enjoyed watching her daughters participate in competitive dancing at the Sawyer Dance Academy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lisanne is survived by her husband Edward; her son Guy McPherson of Mt. Pleasant, MI; two daughters-Mika & Amanda McPherson, both at home; two brothers-Bill (Patty) Bailey of Waukesha, WI, Rich (Sharon) Bailey of Montrose, CO; her mother-in-law Sandy (Garth) Reynolds of Muskegon; father-in-law Richard (Edith) McPherson of Ruby Creek, MI ; brother-in-law Scott (Brenda) McPherson of N. Muskegon, MI; and nieces & nephews-Jeff Bailey, Kim & Missy Reichert, Chad & Lindsey Bailey, Samantha, Melissa, & Benjamin McPherson.
