Clarice J. Sells

Clarice Jane Sells, 78, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, July 8, 2005 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2005 at the Scottdale United Methodist Church, 4271 Scottdale Road at 12: 00 Noon with the Rev, Terrill Schneider officiating. Friends of the family may call Sunday afternoon between 4-7 P.M. at the Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. She was a life-long resident of Berrien County. She retired from Shepard Castors after 17 years. Clarice loved reading and playing cards. She also enjoyed the outdoors particularly gardening, camping, and bird – watching. Clarice is survived by her four daughters, Dani Lynn, of Springfield, MO, Debbie Deaner (Tom) Hill, of Coloma, Diane (Herb) Pringle of Lawrence, and Doreene (Richard Hill) Kelm of Berrien Springs; 9 grand-children; 3 great-grand-children; and two sisters, Velma Kelm of St. Joseph and Vernis Friese of Custer, MI. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Deaner and her two brothers, Meredith and Veryl Rynearson.
