Robert Mitchell

Robert’s life began on June 25, 1958 in Niles, the son of Robert and Edna Mae (Klug) Mitchell. He was united in marriage to the former Amy Kay on June 26, 1982 in Buchanan. Robert was an electronics technician for over 30 years for various local companies. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Robert was a Detroit Tigers fan, loved to go fishing and enjoyed working on his computer. His loving family includes his wife Amy of Keeler, mother Edna Mitchell of Niles, and daughter Briana (Zack Hatch) Mitchell of Keeler. Robert passed away on Monday April 15th in route to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He is preceded in death by his father Robert and a brother Richard. His family will gather with friends on Saturday April 20th at the Kay’s residence (606 W. Third St. Buchanan) beginning at 7 p.m. Yazel & Clark Chapel is serving the family.
