Cecil R.L. Bunch

Cecil RL Bunch, 85, of Benton Harbor, MI, passed away at his home on Monday, August 8, 2005. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2:00p.m., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI, with Pastor Terry Tessari officiating. Cremation will follow the services, and burial will take place at a later date at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, MI. Visiting hours with the family will be on Tuesday, August 9, from 5:00-8:00p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice At Home of Stevensville, MI. On August 17, 1945, in Arkansas, he married Addie Powell. He formerly owned and operated Bunch?s Garage in Benton Harbor. Cecil is survived by his son Gary (Paula) Bunch of Akron, OH, and his daughter Sheila Curtis of Benton Harbor; six grandchildren, Regina Dunaway, Scott (Kathy) Bunch, Jeremy Bunch, Dana (Michael) Schrader, Brent Curtis and Nicole (Steve) Ellis; 4 great grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Matthew and Jessica; three brothers, Gerald (Pauline) Bunch of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Byron (Sue) Bunch of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Vernie (Manuela) Bunch of Las Cruces, New Mexico; step-sisters, Alice Lancaster and Jean Livingston; half brothers, Billy and Buddy Bunch; half sisters, Virginia Hibbard and June Hobbs; son-in-law, Doyle Johnson; and his extended family, Juan and Martha Mata with there family. He is preceded in death by his parents-William and Nellie, his wife-Addie, daughter-Sandra Johnson, grandson-Joel Johnson, brother-Sam Bunch, and sister-Nora Mason.
