Benjamin F. ?Ben? Driscoll II, 86, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Regency Place Nursing Home in Mishawaka, Indiana. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Fr. William Jacobs, Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial of ashes at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Driscoll was born November 3, 1918 in Binghamton, New York to Benjamin & Anna (Simmons)Driscoll. On October 7, 1950, he married the former Violet Schiman in Benton Harbor. Ben retired as foreman from Birch Printers in Benton Harbor in 1980. He enjoyed woodworking and tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. Ben is survived by his son Thomas (Pam) Driscoll of Mishawaka; his daughter Susan (James) Bourque of Grand Rapids; three grandsons-Jason Driscoll, Benjamin Driscoll III, and Evan Bourque. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet on February 24, 1995, his brother & sister-in law Fred & Ginny Driscoll, and his sister Jean Driscoll.
