Kathryn's Obituary
Kathryn K. Silcox, 84, of St. Joseph, passed away on February 26, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
Kathryn was born on May 22, 1920, in South Bend, IN, to Joseph and Julia Kalamay. She married Lawrence ?Fat? Schultz and they resided in St. Joseph. In 1953, Fat preceded Kathryn in death. In 1970, Kathryn married Donald K. Silcox and they lived in Arizona until his death in 2001. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ and was active in the women?s auxiliary guild.
Kathryn is survived by her sons- Thomas (Teresa) Schultz of Louisville, KY, and John (Eileen) Schultz of St. Joseph; step-daughter Judy (Robert) Kingsley of Tucson, AZ; step-son Steven (Pam) Silcox of St. Joseph; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Fat; second husband Donald; and a daughter Phyllis in 1944.
