Cheryle M. Sopher, 56, of Baroda, Mich., former resident of Glenwood, Ill. for thirty-five years, passed away Monday, March 14, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, Mich. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00A.M, Friday, March 18, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 Delaware, Benton Harbor, Mich., with Fr Bill Jacobs, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview cemetery, St. Joseph, Mich. Visitation is from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a Prayer service at 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 17, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, Mich. Memorial Donations may be made to American Cancer Society. She married Ernest ?Chris? Sopher on August 5, 1967, at St. Gerard?s Catholic Church in Markham, Ill. Cheryle was active in supporting local youth programs. She was a loving wife and mother who adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Chris; children ? Christopher (Veronica) Sopher of Bedford, Tex., Kelly (Kevin) Bushu of St. Joseph, Mich., and Stephen (Jeana) Sopher of Brady, Tex.; six grandchildren ? Sophia Sopher; Joshua, Jacob, and Justin Bushu; Blake and Bryce Sopher; brother Richard (Mary) Eggleston of Keller, Tex.; and sister Debbie Eggleston of Reedsburg, Wis. Cheryle is preceded in death by her parents James and Dorothy Eggleston.
