Mary Barry

Mary Barry, 80, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Benton Harbor, died on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, February 14, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 Delaware, in Benton Harbor with Fr. William Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday between 2:00-4:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 4:00 at the Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI. She was the oldest of 6 children born to Joseph and Mary (Mucia) Martorano. In July 1953 she married Frank Barry in St. Joseph. Mary worked for many years at Remington Rand both in Benton Harbor and then in Detroit. Upon retirement, she and her husband moved first to Southern California and then to Florida. Mary ?loved spending time with her family.? Mary is survived by her husband ? Frank; four brothers ? Pete (Inogene) Martorano of Michigan City, IN, Jack Martorano of Coloma, Leo (Mitzi) Martorano of Benton Harbor, and Fred (Sharon) Martorano of St. Joseph; one sister ? Roselyn (Joseph) Sax of Fort Myers, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents ? Joseph and Mary Martorano.
