Pat Torres

Prisciliano ?Pat? Torres, Jr., 68, of Coloma, passed away Monday, May 30, 2005 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Fr. William Jacobs officiating. Friends may call from noon-1P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Torres was born March 21, 1937 in Crystal City, TX to Prisciliano & Stella (Anquiano) Torres. Pat was employed at Whirlpool Corp. in Benton Harbor, retiring in 1998 after 33 years. He enjoyed gardening, tending to his lawn, and spending time with his family and friends both here and in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Pat is survived by his mother Stella Torres of Muskegon, MI; three daughters-Carmen Torres of Traverse City, Cindy (Brad) Wheeler of Stevensville, Cheri (Roger) Hutchins of Stevensville; seven grandchildren-Brandon, David, Brent, Nick, Austin, Kristen, Autumn; four brothers-Al (Gloria) Torres of Muskegon, Ozzie Torres of Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, Daniel (Pat) Torres of Kentwood, MI, Richard (Karla) Torres of Glendale, CA. He was preceded in death by his father Prisciliano, and by an infant daughter.
