Sherie L. Wheaton

Sherie Wheaton, 43, of Benton Harbor, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2004, at her home in Benton Harbor. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Milfred Blevins of Salem Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Salem Missionary Baptist Church. On February 14, 1982, she married Richard ?Rick? Wheaton in Benton Harbor. Sherie worked for Hoffmann Die Cast in St. Joseph of the last twelve years as a quality inspector. She enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, & camping with Rick. Sherie was a member of the Coloma Rod & Gun Club, the NRA, and the American Sportsman Association. Sherie is survived by her husband Rick; her mother Darleen Blevins of Benton Harbor; her brother Steven Blevins of Benton Harbor; her sister Laurie (Jeff) Buesing of Buchanan; a special nephew & niece-Sam Henley, Jr. of Benton Harbor, Stephanie Henley of Buchanan; many aunts, uncles, nephews & nieces. Sherie was preceded in death by her father Harrice Blevins in 2001; her sister Deborah Henley in 1996; and her brother Douglas Blevins in 1988.
