Edward Adam Tomaszewski, 75, of Stevensville passed away on Friday, March 18, 2005 at his home after a courageous battle with leukemia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church Street, St. Joseph with Fr. Paul Yeruva officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2005, from 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Mr. Tomaszewski was born January 19, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Adam & Angeline (Gorney) Tomaszewski. On February 27th, 1954 he married his wife, the former Elizabeth Adent. He retired from Clark Equipment Co. Upon retirement, Ed stayed busy volunteering for Birthright, Habit for Humanity, and the American Red Cross. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren?s sporting events. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Mr. Tomaszewski is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, children?Ken (Kathy) Tomaszewski, Chris (Duane) Tilly, Jerry (Terrie) Tomaszewski, Judy Perry of California, Mike (Debbie) Tomaszewski, Ted (Cheryl) Tomaszewski, and Becky Tomaszewski of Arizona; fifteen grandchildren; and three sisters?Ruth (Roland) Shuler, Lucille Vicini, and Mildred (Edward) Schultz. He was preceded in death by his parents.
