Dorothy's Obituary

Dorothy’s life began on January 12, 1917 in Cassopolis; the daughter of Bert and Hazel (Williams) Phillips. She was united in marriage to John R. Ohl on August 23, 1936 in Marcellus. Dorothy was employed for many years as a pattern folder at Simplicity Pattern. She was a member of the Dowagiac Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness and the Kingdom Hall in Niles. Dorothy was devoted to her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Her loving family includes her children Millie Krogel of Zeeland, Myrna (Mike) Mathews of Niles, John (Kiren) Ohl of Nightdale, NC, Robin ( April) Ohl of Buchanan and Dennis Ohl of Eau Claire; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Dorothy passed away at Westwood of Niles on February 15, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband John in 1990, son Robert E. Ohl and daughter Janice Ohl. Memorial services will be held on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Niles Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness led by Elder Mike Smith. Yazel & Clark Chapel is serving the family.
