Patricia's Obituary
Patricia June Taylor was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. After a year-long battle with lung cancer, our Lord and Savior called her home to join her beloved husband, Alan. We were blessed to have the time to say goodbye before she peacefully entered heaven on October 30, 2004. Born July 19, 1927 to Herb and Nora (Deschner) Madsen in Fort Atkinson, WI, Pat went on to study at Milwaukee County General Hospital and became a Registered Nurse in April of 1949. God joined Pat in marriage to Alan Zachary Taylor on July 15, 1950, and they enjoyed 53 amazing years together. Pat was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in a Christ Care group, a prayer chain and Bible study. Her cooking talents were legendary and enjoyed by many. She was an avid reader, gardener, and was a partner in Taylor Tax and Accounting. She is survived by her beloved daughters Lynnora Beaubien and Susi (Jamie) Blank. A proud and doting grandmother, she was blessed with three grandchildren, Tony and Kris Blank and Paul Beaubien. Also surviving are her younger sisters, Donna Prescott and Chryste Madsen. She was predeceased by her parents and husband and is happy to have them welcome her home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 715 Market St., St. Joseph, with Rev. Tom Batsky officiating. Friends may call from 6-8:30 P.M. Monday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
