Clara's Obituary
Clara M. Hamann, 91, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2005, at Golden Place in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road in St. Joseph, with the Rev. Randy Doyle officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 A.M., Thursday. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter?s Church.
Clara was born on March 9, 1913 in St. Joseph, MI to Henry and Anna (Schiebel) Frobel. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1931. She married Paul Hamann. He preceded her in death in 1942. Mrs. Hamann retired from Producers Creamery in Benton Harbor after 42 years as an accountant. Clara loved sewing and was ?always helping others at home and church.?
Clara is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother Martha Frobel.
