Frank W. Culby

Frank W. Culby, 64, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2005. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 22, from 5:00-8:00 P.M., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. A private committal service will be held at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berrien County Cancer Service or to Hospice At Home of Stevensville. Mr. Culby was born June 3, 1940, in Benton Harbor, MI, to John and Frances (Mole) Culby. On September 13, 1958, in Benton Harbor, MI, he married Carabeth Cayo. He was a retired salesman. Mr. Culby was a former Benton Harbor area school board member. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Culby was an avid gardener, and he also loved to watch cowboy movies and WWII movies. He also loved making fudge, and sharing it with his many friends in Berrien County. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Carabeth; his daughter, Christine (Jerry) Sotnyk of New Baden, IL; his two sons, Mark (Christine) Culby of Berrien Springs, MI, and Jeffrey (Suzanne) Culby of Riverside, MI; five grandchildren, Dustin, Danielle, Matthew, Taylor and Spencer; and a sister, Sharon (Thomas) Michael of Sodus, MI; and a brother, Timm (Debbie) Culby of Benton Harbor, MI. Preceding him in death are his parents, John and Frances.
