Patricia L. Totzke

Patricia L. Totzke, 71, of St. Joseph, MI, died at her home on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, 11:00 A.M., at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, 914 Lane Dr., St. Joseph, with Rev. N. DeLiza Spangler officiating. Her cremated remains will be interred in the church garden after the service. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30 P.M., at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul?s Church. Patricia was born June 5, 1933, in Chicago, IL, to Kermit and Lenore (Dicky) Girdner. She was a graduate of Central Michigan University, and a Certified Reading Specialist. Patricia taught for 35 years, in Elementary Education, in various states including MI, OH, WI and IL. On December 8, 1956, in Muskegon, MI, she married Paul Totzke. She was a member of St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, St. Joseph; Patricia was very active with the Soup Kitchen; and tutored for the Salvation Army. She is survived by her husband Paul; a son, Brian (Lisa) Totzke of Shaumburg, IL; a daughter, Pamela (Keith) Miller of Racine, WI; a grandson, Scott Totzke; and a Brother, David Girdner of Hopkinsville, KY.
