Catherine's Obituary
Catherine Delores Wagner, 83, of St. Joseph, passed away at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph on October 29, 2004.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 1, 2004, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Msgr. Eugene Sears officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Run Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 ? 4:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to National M.S. Foundation. Catherine was born on October 29, 1921 to William and Agnes Gertrude (Langer) Kaatz in St. Joseph and was a 1939 graduate of St. Joseph High School. In June of 1942 she married Edward William Wagner, and supported him in working on the family farm. Catherine loved her family and lived to serve other people.
Catherine is survived by her son William (Roberta) Wagner of St. Joseph; daughters -Kathleen (Robert) Gross of Veedersburg, IN, Karen (Chris) Calacci of Chandler, AZ, Kay (John) Gagliardo of Coloma; sister Margaret ?Babe? Starbuck of Stevensville; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1987; her parents; and step brother Leo Lynch.
