Raymond's Obituary

Raymond Alan Domke, 50, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Stevensville, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery, Stevensville. Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Those wishing to share a memory or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Raymond was born October 26, 1953 in St. Joseph to Raymond C. & Leola (Lucker) Domke. He attended St. Paul?s Lutheran School in Stevensville and graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1971. Ray was on both the football & wrestling team at Lakeshore. On August 17, 1985, he married the former Linda Hemming in Stuart, Florida. Ray was employed as an instructor at Easy Method Driving School in Milwaukee. He was an avid sportsman & outdoorsman. His favorite teams were the Chicago Bears & Cubs. Ray enjoyed photography, collecting stamps & coins, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Domke is survived by his wife Linda; his son Brian Domke of Milwaukee; two daughters-Cari (Justin) LaGrow of Atlanta, GA, Jacquelyn Anderson of Dunlap, TN; three grandchildren-Justin LaGrow, Krista Simpson, Jessie Pollock; his parents Raymond & Leola Domke of Sodus; his brother Richard (Elaine) Domke of Benton Harbor; many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends including his long time best friend Tom Jones.
